Drogba confident Chelsea will climb out of rut

Didier Drogba believes Chelsea have the character to get their derailed season back on track.

The Blues have won just four of their opening 13 league fixtures this campaign after dominating the competition in 2014/15 to clinch the Premier League title.

A win over Norwich City in the league on the weekend was followed by a 4-0 triumph over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League on Tuesday night which leads club legend Drogba to believe that things are on the improve at Stamford Bridge.

"It's a different situation for club, manager and players," Drogba told Sky Sports News HQ.

"When you have won the league the season before and you find yourselves in the last three or four teams in the table after four or five games, it is a shock.

"I know the players and the manager have the ability to change this.

"They have won two consecutive games in the last two days, so I think it is kind of a new start."
