Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is expected to decide on an offer to join Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire in the next 48 hours.

"We're waiting on an answer, probably in the next 48 hours," Fire head coach Frank Yallop said.

"He has choices. We feel that we've put a pretty good pitch in. He's very happy with what we've done, but, again, it's up the person himself to choose, and we'll see."

The 37 year old left Chelsea at the end of the season when his one-year contract at Stamford Bridge expired at the end of the season.
