Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater faces more frustration at Stamford Bridge.

Drinkwater has now been left out of Chelsea's Europa League squad.

Over the summer, Chelsea made Drinkwater available but his high wages and a hefty loan fee put potential suitors off, leaving him in limbo, reports the Daily Star.

That left the 28-year-old determined to fight for a place in manager Maurizio Sarri's first team. But he has yet to make the bench for any of their Premier League games this season.

A return to Leicester City in January has been mooted for the midfielder.
