The knockout stage draw also determined the line-ups for the semi-finals with the winner of the Al Qadsia-Urawa tie meeting either Al Karama or Gamba Osaka in the last four, while Saipa or Kuruvchi will play either Kashima or Adelaide.

The semi-final matches will be played on October 8 and 22 while the final will take place on November 5 and 12.
