DR Congo are ready to cap Crystal Palace fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Mirror says Wan-Bissaka is in England coach Gareth Southgate's thoughts for his next Three Lions squad, which is to be announced next Wednesday. But he already has three right-backs who are regulars in his set-up — Manchester City's Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier of Tottenham and Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The England boss is keen to take a closer look at Wan-Bissaka after a brilliant breakthrough year with Palace.
But Southgate is reluctant to name four right-backs in a single squad, leaving him with a headache over whether to leave one of the more established trio out or delay selecting Wan-Bissaka.
His decision is further complicated by DR Congo's attempts to persuade the Croydon-born 21-year-old to represent them at senior level, leaving England in danger of missing out on Palace's impressive defender.
