Doyle: Wolves need four wins to beat drop

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle says they need four wins to beat the drop this season.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy's men played with great endeavour and spirit against Manchester United, and Doyle claimed they have enough quality and confidence within their squad to avoid the drop.

"We have 10 games left and we just hope things will just turn our way," said Doyle. "We probably need four wins.

"We felt like there wasn't too much between us and United, but that's just typical of the way things can go.

"We've played really well and then get punished like that. It's what happens in the Premier League.

"How many times do you see sides like United scraping a 1-0 win and taking all the points?

"We just have to keep doing what we're doing. We honestly believe we have enough about us to stay up. I think we're playing better than we were at Reading when I went down with them."
