Iain Dowie admits he's in the dark over whether he will be offered the Hull City job for their Championship return.

Former Crystal Palace boss Paul Hart has been linked with the Tigers in recent days.

Dowie told Sky Sports: "Well, I mean we'll wait and see. That's a decision that obviously (chairman) Adam (Pearson) and (owner) Russell Bartlett will do," he said, adding they had been very up front with him from day one.

"They have got a lot of difficult financial challenges.

"I actually really enjoyed it, I couldn't have asked for more from the players, I thought they were committed."
