Douglas Luiz says he's happy at Aston Villa.

The Brazil midfielder was linked with Arsenal last summer before eventually staying at Villa Park.

Luiz insists he no regrets, stating: “I believe in the Aston Villa project, so I decided to stay.

"It is very exciting to be a part of this new era. Why wouldn't I stay? Everything is going well.

"But in football, everything happens quickly enough."
