Ilkay Gundogan is expected to join Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the German midfielder will be the subject of a five-year offer from City and will sign with the Premier League club for £23million at the end of the season.
Gundogan, 25, has been linked with a number of clubs in recent times with Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona and Juventus all showing significant interest.
However, it appears as though City have won the race for his services following talks between the player's agent and uncle Ilhan and City sporting director Txiki Begiristain which took place in Amsterdam in March.
The Manchester club have reportedly sorted the details of the deal which is likely to see Germany international Gundogan make the move from Dortmund, where has been since 2011, to link up with incoming manager Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.
