Graham Dorrans is delighted he swapped Scotland's Livingston for West Brom this season.
"Some Scottish lads just want to stay up there because they are playing every week, but I knew straight away I wanted to come to Albion," the midfielder told the Sunday Mercury.
"I was always going to come down here when I got the chance.
"My gaffer knew Tony from his days at Hibs and he told me they wanted me on trial so I came down here and from the moment I arrived I knew this was the place I wanted to come.
"Tony said he wanted to talk to Livingston and see how it went. A few weeks later I was delighted to find they wanted to bring me down.
"Before I came I didn't really expect to play at all this season. I just hoped to get into the squad and work my way in, so I am delighted I have made five appearances so far in the cup and the league. It has been great so far."
