Graham Dorrans is happy with his progress at West Brom this season.

"I came down here knowing I wasn't going to get straight into the first team," said last season's PFA Scottish League One Player of the Year.

"Coming from the Scottish First Division, I knew I wasn't going to walk straight into a Premier League side.

"I have just worked hard in training with the fitness coach and that's paying off.

"I've got my chance now. Hopefully, I can take it."

Dorrans also told WBA's website: "The gaffer told me on the morning of the City game I was on the bench and it was nice to get a game.

"Making my first-team debut in this league was incredible.

"It's the best league in the world and is where I want to play."
