Wolves have signed Exeter City youngster Alfie Pond to join the club's under-21s side.
The defender joins from League One side Exeter City on a five-year-deal, and possesses a lot of potential, having progressed through the Grecians' academy and attracted plaudits along the way.
Harry Hooman, Wolves' head of UK academy recruitment, said: “Alfie is a player we have been aware of for a long time. He is an exciting prospect who has the potential to develop into a very good central defender and fits our profile perfectly.
“He possesses all the attributes we look for in a young defender and has the physicality and mobility we look for in a player. His use of the ball is good, and he has excellent defensive qualities.
“Alfie has a good presence and maturity on the pitch for someone so young – very much an old head of young shoulders. He has had an impressive start to his loan at Yeovil, playing men's football in a tough league for a teenager. Now, we're looking forward to seeing him develop with us."
