Bournemouth have signed defender Rhoys Wiggins for the fourth time in his career.

The 28-year-old left-back previously enjoyed two loan spells and a permanent move between July 2010 and July 2011 before leaving for Charlton.

He has now signed from ChampionshipSheffield Wednesday on a two-and-a-half year deal for a fee understood to be £200,000.

He told BBC Radio Solent: "I was surprised by the interest. But, Eddie Howe's a good manager and he knows what I'm capable of and how he sees me fitting into the style.

"Looking at it, people will be surprised by the move. But, hopefully I can do the business on the pitch and answer some of those questions."
