West Ham goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez is on his way to Real Valladolid.
The London Evening Standard says West Ham have agreed to subsidise the wages of flop Roberto with the goalkeeper set to join Spanish side Real Valladolid.
The 34-year-old flew to Spain on Wednesday night and is now finalising the remaining details of a permanent move away from east London, bringing an end to his torrid time in England.
Such was the desire from the West Ham board and management to move the goalkeeper on, it is understood that no fee has been paid by Valladolid to secure the signing and - given the size of Premier League wage packets compared to those at smaller La Liga clubs - the Hammers have agreed to continue to pay a portion of his wages.
Despite that agreement, the deal frees up more cash for manager David Moyes to reinvest this summer.
