Watford are closing the signing of Fluminense striker Joao Pedro.

The Watford Observer reports the Hornets have completed a deal to land Brazilian starlet Joao Pedro from Fluminense.

Pedro, a talented striker, will be able to agree a professional contract when he turns 17 later this month.

Watford plan to take him to London in the summer of 2020 and will let him continue his development at the Rio De Janeiro side.

The Brazilian club's president Pedro Abad travelled to London to agree the sale of Pedro.

He made an impact in the club's under-17 side, scoring an impressive 25 goals throughout the campaign.
