Watford have snapped up the son of Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp.
Watford have sealed a six-month deal for Mitchel Bergkamp, who is the son of Arsenal legend Dennis.
The Hornets have wrapped up the deal on a short-term basis, but there is an option to extend the contract if he enjoys a successful spell with the club's Under 23s squad.
The 22-year-old had spent a week training at Arsenal's London Colney base with Steve Bould and his Under 23s side in November last year, but he was let go following the trial.
"When I was younger it was difficult [to be compared all the time] but I've adapted to it now," he told Watford's official club website.
"It's just my name and I'm my own player and hopefully I can leave my own legacy. He's been amazing to me and for me. He's my No 1 fan and has always been there for me. It's a privilege to have him as my dad and to work with him on my game."
