DONE DEAL: Watford cut loose Juan Carlos Paredes for Ecuador move

Watford have cut loose Juan Carlos Paredes.

Paredes has left Watford and signed for Club Sport Emelec in his native Ecuador.

The 30-year-old made 61 appearances for the Hornets during his three year stay at the club, but spent the past six months on loan at Olympiakos.

His only appearance under Walter Mazzarri came in the 2-1 EFL Cup defeat to Gillingham.

Paredes has signed a three-year deal at Emelec, who currently sit third in the Ecuadorian top-flight.
