Watford manager Javi Gracia will be delighted the club have completed a signing on deadline day.

The club has wrapped up the deal for goalkeeper Pontus Dahlberg from Dolberg.

However, Dahlberg is definitely one for the future, as he will be loaned back to his parent club for the rest of the season.

The signing does indicate Watford's planning for the future. They are hoping to assemble an impressive squad for Gracia if he can keep them in the Premier League.

The season in Sweden begins in April, which means Dahlberg will spend a few months there, before coming back to Watford for pre-season and the 2018/2019 league campaign.
