Valencia have completed the signing of Sporting CP fullback Cristiano Piccini.

Piccini joins from Sporting CP for a reported €8m.

The deal was confirmed in a video on Valencia's official Twitter account, although only tattoos gave away his identity.

Piccini, who began his career at Fiorentina, made 40 appearances for Sporting last season.

The defender leaves Sporting in the aftermath of ultras storming the club's training HQ at the end of last season.
