Swansea City have completed the signing of Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.

Woodman joins on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old underwent a medical on Wednesday ahead of the switch, having only recently signed a contract extension with the Toon.

Woodman, who has made four first-team appearances for the Magpies, has agreed an extension which will keep him at St James' Park until 2021, the Premier League club has announced.

Woodman will train with his new teammates on Thursday ahead of the Swans opening Championship fixture against Hull on Saturday.
