Sunderland have taken Tottenham prospect Kazaiah Sterling on loan.

The Black Cats have been hunting for a replacement after Josh Maja left to join Bordeaux.

They have had a number of bids for Wigan's Will Grigg turned down and also saw an offer for Leyton Orient's Josh Koroma rejected.

But they have landed another of their targets in England youngster Sterling, 20, who has joined on loan until the end of the season.
