Blackburn Rovers have captured Jordi Gomez from Sunderland.
The 30-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder will spend the rest of the season on loan at Ewood Park and could make his debut against Middlesbrough this weekend.
Gomez has made just six Premier League appearances for the Black Cats this term and will now head to Blackburn to play under Paul Lambert with Rovers sitting 18th on the Championship table.
