DONE DEAL: Stoke complete signing of Bournemouth striker Surridge

Stoke City have completed the signing of Sam Surridge from Bournemouth.

The frontman has finalized a permanent move to the Potters.

He will sign a four year contract with Stoke, per the Daily Echo.

Surridge came through the Cherries academy, progressed into the first team, and played 42 games of senior football.

He netted seven goals in those games, and will now get a chance to play regularly at Stoke.

Speaking about Surridge, Stoke boss Michael O'Neill told the Potters' website: "In terms of a permanent signing Sam has been our number one striking option that we identified.

"We've had to be very patient but it's great to get it done.

"He's a young player with all his best years ahead of him and he will be a fantastic addition to our squad."

A statement from Bournemouth said: "The club would like to thank Sam for all his efforts and wish him well for the future."
