DONE DEAL: Stoke chief Scholes welcomes Tottenham midfielder Oakley-Boothe

Stoke City have signed permanently Tottenham midfielder Tashan Oakley-Boothe.

The 19-year-old midfielder made one first team appearance during his time at the Club, coming off the bench in a 1-0 EFL Cup win over Barnsley in 2017.

Tashan has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Development Squad and Under-19s this season, scoring twice.

He joins the Potters in a permanent deal.

Potters Chief Executive Tony Scholes said: “Tashan is a player with a great deal of promise who I know Tottenham hold in really high regard and were reluctant to let him leave.

“We are delighted to have secured his services and he's joining a first team squad with a strong group of young players in Tyrese Campbell, Nathan Collins, Tom Edwards, Thibaud Verlinden and Julien Ngoy."
