Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed has joined Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan deal.

The Saints midfielder, 23, becomes Rovers' sixth summer signing after struggling to nail down a first-team spot at St Mary's.

Reed, a product of Southampton's youth system, will spend the entire 2018-19 season on loan at Ewood Park.

The box-to-box midfielder spent last term on loan at Norwich, impressing in his 39 Championship appearances at Carrow Road.
