Southampton have confirmed a deal that allows £19 million flop attacker Guido Carrillo to leave the club.

The Argentine has endured a miserable time since signing for the Saints in 2018 from Monaco.

He played ten games and managed ZERO goals, and spent two loan spells at Lenages in Spain in the past two seasons.

Now he has terminated his deal with the Premier League club to sign for Elche in La Liga.

A Southampton statement read: "The club thanks Guido for his efforts during his time at Southampton and wishes him well for the future."
