Rennes have signed Sevilla defender Joris Gnagnon.

Gnagnon has joined Rennes on a season-long loan.

He stated: "I am very happy to see my training club. Stade Rennais FC has and will always have a special place for me. This return on loan was the best option possible.

"From Spain, I have always kept a close eye on Rennes. Last season was exceptional and historic. The club has grown. This return home is an opportunity for me to return what they brought me. I intend to give everything."
