Bayern Munich have completed the signing of RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer.

The Bavarian giants have secured another huge talent from within the Bundesliga, after securing Dayot Upamecano from Leipzig earlier in the summer.

The 27-year-old Austrian midfielder, who spent the past seven years at Leipzig, has signed a four-year contract with Bayern.

Sabitzer did have interest from outside Germany, but only had eyes for Bayern after their interest was confirmed.

"As a child my Bayern jersey was my pride and joy - I got a new one at Christmas every year," said Sabitzer, per the club website.

"I'll give everything for this club."

He added: "I want to win as many matches as possible and of course collect lots of titles."
