Chris Smalling has finally completed a permanent switch to Roma from Manchester United.
The Englishman spent last season on loan at Stadio Olimpico and the Italian club have been trying to get him back ever since.
Roma have paid an initial £13.6m which could rise to £20m with add-ons.
Smalling played 323 times for Manchester United, where he won two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, a League Cup and the Europa League.
United posted on their website: "Everyone at Manchester United would like to thank Chris for his years of service, dedication and professionalism, and wish him all the best for his future."
Rome is home.
