Real Mallorca have signed Clement Grenier to a deal to the end of the season.

The Frenchman joins Mallorca as a free agent and his contract includes an option for another 12 months.

Grenier, formerly of Stade Rennais, Olympique de Lyon and Roma, has been capped five times by France and was currently without a team.

The 31 year-old arrives as cover for injured midfielder Iñigo Ruiz de Galarreta and is now at the disposal of coach Luis García Plaza, who, after seeing him in training, especially with regard to to the physical aspect, gave the go-ahead for his signing.

Grenier had been trialling just this week, but did enough to win over Garcia Plaza and earn his deal.
