Real Madrid have signed French youngster Eduardo Camavinga.
The midfielder joins from Rennes for around 30 million euros.
The 18-year-old, who is already a full international with France, has signed a contract with Los Blancos until June 2027. His arrival is a boost to Real Madrid's midfield, an area Carlo Ancelotti was keen to strengthen in.
Camavinga's Rennes contract was due to expire in June 2022 and as a free agent he was certain to have a long queue of suitors, but Real Madrid have stolen a march on the competition and secured him now.
Undoubtedly one of the top under-20 players in Europe, Camavinga is a real coup and could prove an important player for years to come. It had looked in recent days that he might be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain, but Madrid is his destination on deadline day.
