Rangers completed the signing of Joseph Dodoo from Leicester City on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old forward has joined the Glasgow giants on a four-year deal having trained with Mark Warburton's side over the summer.
Dodoo leaves Leicester after initially joining the academy back in 2008 and although he could have remained with the Premier League champions, the lure of playing for 'Gers at Ibrox was too much to turn down.
“Of course I had other options but sometimes you have to make a decision on what club is best for you and I felt like the manager was the right one for me," he told RangersTV.
“It felt like the right place to prove and the manager will nurture me and make me the player I want to be.
“The football is right, they play good football and that suits me."
Dodoo added: "I am stepping out in front of 52,000 and that is the biggest positive you can have, they are your fans and they are here to cheer you on and support you."
