Oldham Athletic have signed Crystal Palace striker Freddie Ladapo on loan until January.

The 23-year-old former Colchester player joined Alan Pardew's team for an undisclosed fee from non-league Margate in March.

He scored 23 goals in 49 appearances for Margate, and has also had spells at Gray's, Kidderminster and Nuneaton.

Ladapo boosts an Oldham attack which has scored only two goals in five league matches this season.
