DONE DEAL: Odubeko signs new West Ham contract before joining Huddersfield

West Ham United have announced a contract renewal for Mipo Odubeko.

The 18-year-old was one of the most impressive performers within the club's academy last term.

Odubeko, who is a forward, netted 14 goals in 12 Academy appearances, while he also won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award in April.

Now he has signed a new contract with the Hammers that will take him to the summer of 2023, per the club website.

Odubeko will also join Huddersfield Town in the Championship on loan for the rest of the season.

There is a stipulation in the loan deal that allows West Ham to recall him in January.
