Nottingham Forest have signed Gustavo Scarpa from Palmeira.

The attacking midfielder has penned a contract until 2026.

Scarpa comes to England on a free transfer, with his Palmeiras deal expiring at the end of this month.

For Palmeiras, the 28-year-old played a total of 211 games in which he scored 37 goals and produced 51 assists.

"I am very happy to be here, this is a dream for me," Scarpa commented, "it's a new challenge and I can't wait to start. Since I was a small child, I've always wanted to play in Europe, and my dream is to play in the Premier League.“
