Napoli have completed the signing of Udinese goalkeeper Alex Meret.

Meret joins Napoli as a replacement for AC Milan signing Pepe Reina.

“Napoli announce the permanent signing from Udinese of Alex Meret, who has signed a contract until June 20, 2023," a statement on the club's website confirms.

It's expected Udinese teammate Orestis Karnezis will follow Meret to Napoli.

Karnezis was undergoing a Napoli medical on Thursday afternoon.
