Rochdale have signed Manchester United midfielder Oliver Rathbone.

United announced earlier this month that the 20-year-old would not have his contract extended and he will join Rochdale on July 1.

He has signed a one-year deal with the League One club.

“When I found out I was leaving Manchester United, I spoke to my coach about potential clubs. He told me that Rochdale have great people and that it was a great club to come and play football at."
