Manchester United have allowed Joel Pereira to join Portuguese club Vitoria Setubal on loan for the 2018/19 season.

It will be the 22-year-old's third loan spell since breaking through to the United first-team ranks in 2015.

United had been waiting for Sergio Romero and David De Gea to return to training for Pereira to seal a loan move.

The signing of Lee Grant as United's third-string keeper was done so Pereira would be able to go out and get first-team experience.

The Portugal U21 international has made three appearances for United.
