Manchester United defender Sadiq El Fitouri has joined Chesterfield.
The Libya international was on the bench for Nicky Butt's team in the 3-1 defeat to Everton in Premier League 2 on Monday but has sealed a switch to the Proact Stadium, where former United keeper Chris Turner is director of football.
The Spireites signed a former Red in Liam Grimshaw on deadline day when acquiring him on loan from Preston North End and have announced a deal has also been agreed with 22-year-old El Fitouri ahead of the weekend encounter with Oldham Athletic.
Meanwhile, United have confirmed Josh Doughty has been released and allowed to return home. The Canada Under-20 international forward signed from Real Salt Lake City two years ago.
