Manchester United have confirmed the arrival of youth defender Willy Kambala from Sochaux.
The 16-year-old centre-back caps off an impressive academy recruitment drive this summer, which has seen eight new players join from outside the club.
United announced on their website: "Manchester United is pleased to confirm the signing of Willy Kambwala from Sochaux.
"The 16-year-old defender has represented the Ligue 2 club up to Under-19s level and has captained France's Under-17s.
"Kambwala will join Neil Ryan's Under-18s squad once his mandatory period of self-isolation is complete.
"The centre-back's arrival completes a busy period of Academy recruitment, which has seen eight players join United's Professional Development Phase from outside of the club and five players from the Under-16s group earn scholarships."
