Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has agreed contract terms with Barcelona.

Sport says Barcelona and his agent have agreed the basis of a deal for him to join the club from July 1.

El Kun will arrive for two seasons after a decade at Manchester City.

The Argentine has lowered his salary demands to come to Barca and play with his good friend Lionel Messi, whom he has been a team-mate of in the national side but never at club level. Ronald Koeman has given Aguero's arrival the nod as long as it doesn't interfere with Memphis Depay's arrival.

Aguero would accept a secondary role, Martin Braithwaite's position this season, but would fight to be a starter. He has an offer from Juventus too, but playing with Messi is a big draw.
