Manchester City have snapped up a third teenage Scot this week.
City completing the signing of young Rangers forward Adedire Mebude.
The 16-year-old arrives highly rated and will give the Blues a presence in the Under-18s team initially and could challenge in the Under-23s if he progresses.
Mebude becomes the third youngster to be tempted down to City's academy from a Scottish club this year. Liam Smith joined from Kilmarnock in March for £200,000 and Josh Adam signed from Celtic last month.
City's new U23 coach Enzo Maresca told the Manchester Evening News: "I'm very happy if we have players with the first team.
"First of all because we can help them and second because I think it is important for the academy and also for the club and in general to have young players from the academy with the first team."
