Manchester City have completed the signing of Fluminense midfielder Metinho.

Flu have announced Metinho has joined the City Football Group, which runs City's global partner network.

Metinho was released by Flu this week to sign with City, though will return to the Brazilian giants in time for their U23 game on Thursday against Juventude.

The midfielder will initially be loaned to one of City's European partners, with Troyes or Lommel among possibilities.

Metinho's Flu teammate Kayky signed for City last month.
