Manchester City have sent new signing Mix Diskerud on-loan to Sweden.

The midfielder has joined IFK Gothenburg, but by his own admission it's an unusual arrangement.

"I have a contract for the three cup matches. I like IFK and would like to stay the whole season. But there are others who decide. Agents, (IFK sports director) Mats Gren and so on...," he told GT.

Diskerud was signed permanently by City in January from their MLS partners New York City FC.
