DONE DEAL: Man City release 4 players for loan

Manchester City have allowed four of their young players to depart on-loan.

The Manchester Evening News reports City have allowed four players to leave on loan, including Japanese midfielder Ryo Meshino and Croatian Ante Palaversa.

The pair, along with Yangel Herrera and Slobodan Tedic, have yet to make a first team appearance for City, and have all previously spent time out on loan from the CFA.

Meshino, 22, who joined from Gamba Osaka in 2019 before heading out on loan to Hearts, joins Portuguese outfit Rio Ave on a two-year loan spell. Rio Ave say they have an option to purchase Meshino, a Japanese under-23 international, at the end of the loan.

Palaversa joined City from Hajduk Split in 2019 for £7m and he returned to the Croatian side on loan before spending last season at KV Oostende in Belgium. Now, he joins La Liga side Getafe on loan for the 2020/21 season.

Herrera remains with Granada for another season, while Tedic joins PEC Zwolle for 12 months.
