DONE DEAL: Man City partners New York City FC land Jesus Medina

Manchester City have clinched the signing of Paraguayan whizkid Jesus Medina.

The attacker joins City's MLS partners New York City FC on a four year contract from Libertad de Asuncion.

The U20 international joins NYCFC to boost the attacking options of coach Patrick Vieira.

"We needed to improve the attacking positions," said Vieira. "Medina is a very dynamic player, a good dribbler and he will score many goals."

For his part, Medina also said: " I like to play on the right or on the left, and as an inside forward."
