Manchester City have confirmed Scott Carson has extended his stay at the club.

The veteran Derby goalkeeper will spend another season loan at the Etihad.

A club statement read: "Scott Carson has extended his loan deal with City by another year.

"The experienced goalkeeper originally moved to the Etihad on a year-long loan from Derby County last summer."

It added: "Everyone at Manchester City wishes Scott the best of luck throughout the next 12 months at the Club."
