Liverpool youngster Sepp van den Berg has joined Preston North End on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old joined Liverpool from PEC Zwolle in the summer of 2019, making four first team appearances for the Reds.

Speaking to Preston's website, the Dutchman said: "I'm looking forward to it. I'm happy I'm here. I'm happy hopefully I can play a lot of games, I hopefully can achieve something good this season so I'm really looking forward to the season.

"I've had a look around and everything looks good. The people that I've met have been really nice to me so I'm really looking forward and the facilities are good so hopefully I can develop here very well."
