Liverpool have snapped up Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Ben Winterbottom.
Winterbottom, 17, has now linked up with Liverpool's Under-18 side after signing from Blackburn.
The teenage goalkeeper was on the Liverpool bench for their victory over Everton in their derby.
Liverpool U18s boss Barry Lewtas told the Liverpool Echo: "Ben was available and with the injuries we've got, it's about making sure we have enough cover.
“He's a good boy and has settled in really well. He's a positive character around the dressing room.
“He has trained well and will prove to be a good addition to the squad."
Liverpool Under-18s have been short of keepers since No 1 Vitezslav Jaros suffered an ankle injury earlier this month.
With Dan Atherton too old for FA Youth Cup duty, the Reds had to sign Fulham's Luca Ashby-Hammond on an emergency loan for their semi-final tie with Watford.
