Liverpool have sold Ragnar Klavan to Cagliari for £2m.
The 32-year-old was granted permission to fly to Italy to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical ahead of Friday's Serie A transfer deadline and has now officially signed.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp agreed to let Klavan discuss terms with the Italians after feeling that his options were well stocked at centre-back.
Klavan's departure could now see Academy graduate Nat Phillips move up the pecking order at Anfield after impressing during the Reds' summer tour of the United States last month.
